Neighbourhood Print Studio

The Neighbourhood Print Studio is a socially-engaged art project that travels within Ottawa to work with community members in their neighbourhoods. Through a series of workshops, together we co-create silkscreened prints, posters and t-shirts to share stories about neighbourhood, home, belonging and identity. Participants’ works are then shared in an exhibition open to the public and copies of their prints will be available for anyone to take home.

Participating organizations included Vanier Community Services Centre, Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre and Centretown Community Health Centre, where I was as an artist-in-residence.

Many thanks to Arts Network Ottawa, Ottawa Community Foundation, Ontario Trillium Foundation and the City of Ottawa for their support of this project.
